On October 12, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) International Board re-appointed Charles Sandefur and Mario Ochoa as President and Executive Vice-President of ADRA International for a new term of duty.

“We are humbled and honored for the opportunity to serve and work in this outstanding organization,” says Sandefur. “ADRA’s work is foundational to the improvement of quality of life worldwide for the millions of people whose lives we impact through our programs.”

Sandefur has served as president of ADRA International since 2002. Ochoa has been part of the ADRA network for more than 35 years, and has worked for ADRA International since its inception.

“It is a privilege to be able to serve in this way,” added Ochoa. “The work that ADRA does brings hope and dignity to the lives of so many in need, providing sustainable and viable opportunities for generations to come.”

ADRA is present in 125 countries, providing community development and emergency management without regard to political or religious association, age, or ethnicity.
